Noise at Work Assessments
Hearing problems caused by noise at work are far too common. The HSE estimates that 170,000 people in the UK suffer deafness, tinnitus or other ear conditions as a result of exposure to excessive noise at work.

Find out how Evolved Acoustics can help your business comply with The Control of Noise at Work Regulations.
Does your workplace require a noise assessment?
By law, as an employer, you must assess and identify measures to eliminate or reduce risks from exposure to noise so that you can protect the hearing of your employees.

Assessments are required at least every two years, but may be needed more often if there is a change in working conditions.

The level at which employers must assess the risk to workers' health and provide them with information and training is 80 dB(A).

If employees have to raise their voice in order to have a conversation for at least part of the day, you will probably need to do something about the noise.
